Crowns

Fillings and Cavity Treatment
If tooth decay is left on its own for too long, it can turn into a cavity. Thankfully, Dr. Taller is an expert in cavity treatment and prevention! To treat a cavity, Dr. Taller will remove the decayed portion of the tooth and then “fill” the area on the tooth where the decayed material once lived. Fillings are also used to repair cracked or broken teeth and teeth that have been worn down from misuse (such as from nail-biting or tooth-grinding). After repairing your tooth, Dr. Taller will work with you to help you avoid fillings in the future.

Dr. Taller chooses a resin that matches the color of your teeth. After cleaning the area, we apply a bonding resin layer by layer until the area has the desired look, before using a UV light to harden it.
Mouthguards
Mouthguards can help absorb the forces that cause oral-facial injuries and concussions, minimizing the incidence and severity of broken teeth and facial bones, trauma to the TMJ, or trauma to the spine and brain. The best mouthguards are those made from impressions of the mouth taken by your dentist. These custom-fitted mouthguards are also more comfortable than other types of mouthguards, so they are more likely to be worn when needed.
